Participants gain an understanding of movement, good nutrition, recovery and mindfulness and how this enhances feelings of positive wellbeing and improves their overall focus and mental health.

Learning Intention

The Health Workshop focuses on the importance of mental and physical health. Through fun and interactive activities, participants explore the concepts of movement, recovery, nutrition and mindfulness, developing their self-awareness around the connections between their body and their mind. Participants also examine the power of mindfulness and meditation as a way to reduce anxiety, improve focus and boost mental health.  


Participants will be able to:

  • Understand the importance of physical and mental health and the link between the two
  • Develop an awareness of what good physical and mental health looks like
  • Develop tools to improve their health, relieve stress and anxiety and improve their quality of sleep
