Carlisle Homes Managing Director, John Doulgeridis, Rob Tait, and ten amazing leaders of the Carlisle Homes supply and partner network embarked on a life-changing '7 Peaks, 7 Seas' Challenge. Early starts, long days hiking, facing water-based challenges and time spent exploring the heritage listed paradise that is Lord Howe... they raised awareness and $200,000 of funds to help LifeChanger Foundation tackle the youth mental health crisis head on!
To support LifeChanger's preventative youth mental health programs - as an industry first initiative - John Doulgeridis, Managing Director of Carlisle Homes invited ten senior leaders from a diverse group of core industry suppliers to rally together over a five-day hiking and adventure challenge in the attempt to raise awareness and over $100,000 of funds to help put an end to the challenges experienced by youth across Australia.

Guided by LifeChanger Co-founders – former elite sports coach Scott Watters and six time Ironman Trevor Hendy, participants will prepare for a physical, spiritual and emotional journey of self-discovery in one of Australia's most spectacular locations; Lord Howe Island.
This was an incredible opportunity for individuals and businesses to work together to optimise the strength and opportunity Carlisle Homes holds as an industry. Their adventurous and very generous industry partners included: Carlisle Homes, Bowens Timber and Hardware, Rinnai Australia, Harvey Norman Commercial, DJM Building Surveyors, Slattery and Aquroff Stairs, A&L Windows, BoardPro, CSR Gyprock, Guest Group and Dulux.
Together, $200,000 was raised for LifeChanger FoundatioN across the challenge
The fund raised create over 24,000 workshop placements for youth - directly and positively impacting the current youth mental health crisis. It also provided each participant a mind, body and spirit experience and an opportunity for transformational and lifechanging team and individual growth, all the whilst experiencing the natural beauty of Lord Howe Island.
