No prior experience is needed. The only requirement is a genuine desire to support young people in their development. Additionally, you must be at least 18 years of age.
Virtual Mentor Training sessions are hosted every month and are completely free. Please refer to the Training Calendar above for the dates. If you’d like to organise a private session, either virtual or face to face, please enquire here.
The Mentor Training is aimed to best prepare you for Mentoring in our school based programs and will cover the following topics:
No. You will be required to submit your Child Safety Check prior to attending a school based workshop.

After you complete your Mentor Training, you'll receive access to our Mentor Platform. Simply log in, go to “My Profile,” and enter both your Child Safety Check Number and its expiry date during the onboarding process.
Access to our Mentor Platform is exclusive to Trained Mentors. Once you have been trained you will be able to Register to our Mentor Platform.

No. All LifeChanger mentoring roles are volunteer positions.
Our mentors generously give their time to support young people and create positive change in their communities. While the role is unpaid, you'll receive mentor training and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact while developing valuable mentoring and leadership skills.
