SCOTT WATTERS SHARES LIFECHANGER’S IMPACT ON CHANNEL 7

BUILDING RESILIENCE AND HOPE FOR YOUNG AUSTRALIANS

With youth mental health challenges at record levels - 80% of young people experiencing issues in the past two years, and one in three feeling uncertain about the future - LifeChanger Foundation is showing how prevention and community support can make a lasting difference.

Founder Scott Watters joined Natarsha Belling on CHANNEL 7 TV’s National News at Noon to share how LifeChanger is helping young Australians build resilience, self-belief, and stronger social connections.  For nearly a decade, LifeChanger has helped young people build resilience, emotional intelligence, and strong social connections.

In 2024, the program reached over 140,000 young lives across more than 600 schools in Australia and New Zealand. This success reflects the power of preventative, community-led support. A huge heartfelt thank you to Scott, the LifeChanger team, and Channel 7 for their support in spreading this message of hope for young people.

“...A few years back, there was a survey that came out that said we're only spending 18 seconds a day in meaningful conversation with that young person in our life. So, take the time. We're all busy, but that time is an investment that you'll cherish.”  Let’s continue to invest in our future by investing in our youth. Presence is the best present we can give.
